The Rottweiler is a solid dog, strong and friendly but not to taken lightly. They are more of an advanced dog breed. But they do have a soft side, Rottweiler enjoy being around people and are extremely affectionate dogs, plus are very loyal toward their families and owners.

They usually live about 11 years 

Owning a Rottweiler is a big commitment. The average lifespan for this breed of dog is 11 years. And due to the size of the dog, you need to make sure that the animal fits into your family well. Having a dog is a big commitment to make. It’s important to note to treat them as a part of your family. They are not to be treated as “junk yard dawg”. Some even life past 11 years, but most don’t as the bread can have issues with life threating medical conditions.
